1. General

Welcome to the MARU website. MARU boutique offers select children's products – clothing, accessories, and toys from the best European brands.

The website is owned by Maria Goldenberg, a licensed dealer, and serves as a virtual store. Browsing and purchasing on the website constitute full agreement to the terms of this policy.

If you do not agree to the terms of use, you are not permitted to use the website.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be published on the website and will take effect immediately upon publication.

"Store Owner" – Maria Goldenberg, Licensed Dealer

"The Products" – All items displayed for sale on the website

"Customer" – Any person making a purchase on the website or contacting customer service

"Business Days" – Sunday to Thursday, excluding Friday, Saturday, holiday eves and holidays

"Shipping Address" – The address provided by the customer when placing the order

"Order Date" – The day the credit company approved the transaction

3. Eligibility for placing orders

Purchasing on the website is permitted subject to the following cumulative conditions:

The customer holds a valid Israeli identity card, a valid foreign passport, or a corporation duly registered in Israel

The customer is competent to perform binding legal actions. A minor will attach written parental/guardian approval

The customer holds a valid Israeli or international credit card for online transactions

The customer has an email address and a residential address in Israel

4. Products, prices, and inventory

Product images on the website are for illustration purposes only. We strive to display colors and details with high accuracy, but slight differences may occur depending on screen settings.

Product prices include VAT as required by law and do not include shipping fees.

We reserve the right to change prices, offer promotions and discounts, and discontinue them at any time, without prior notice. The customer will be charged according to the price listed on the website at the time the transaction is approved by the credit card company.

We do not guarantee to hold inventory of all products displayed on the website.

5. Placing an order and completing the purchase

For a purchase, the customer will enter their personal details: name, address, email, phone number, and payment details. The responsibility for the accuracy and correctness of the details rests solely with the customer. An error in filling in the details may cause delays in delivery and an additional charge for return shipping fees.

An order will be considered approved only after receiving approval from the credit card company. If the transaction is not approved – the customer will receive a notification and will be asked to provide another payment method.

We reserve the right not to approve an order for any reason, at our sole discretion, including: incorrect details, suspicion of illegal activity, blocked credit card, or an unsettled debt.

Completion of the purchase is conditional on the product being in stock at the time of the order. If the product is out of stock – we will notify the customer and refund the full amount paid.

6. Payment terms

Payment is made by Israeli and international credit cards. We reserve the right to change payment methods and options at any time without prior notice.

7. Delivery and shipping

Delivery will be made to the address provided by the customer, within 5–7 business days from the date of order approval, via a courier company.

Shipping fees will be indicated on the website and will be charged separately. We reserve the right to change shipping fees at any time.

Product delivery will be possible to one address only.

We will not be responsible for delays caused by external factors: force majeure, strikes, security incidents, severe weather, courier company malfunctions, etc.

Self-collection: Orders can be collected from the store by prior arrangement only (Eshtori Haparhi 16, Tel Aviv). Proof of purchase and ID must be presented.

8. Cancellation, return, and exchange policy

Transaction Cancellation

Cancellations are subject to the Consumer Protection Law (Distance Selling), 1981, and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Transaction Cancellation), 2010.

Purchases can be canceled up to 14 days from the date of product receipt. To cancel – please contact hello@marutlv.com with the order number, or visit the store by prior arrangement.

After cancellation approval, the product must be returned within 10 days.

Cancellation fees: will not exceed 5% of the product price or NIS 100 – whichever is lower. Original shipping fees will not be refunded. The refund will be made to the credit card charged only.

Product Exchange

Products can be exchanged up to 14 days from the date of receipt. Please contact hello@marutlv.com or visit the store by prior arrangement with proof of purchase.

The customer can receive an alternative product or a credit voucher for the same amount (excluding shipping fees). If the alternative product is shipped – additional shipping fees will be charged.

Conditions for Cancellation/Exchange

The product must be in its original packaging, complete, without defect, damage, or use.

Cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged:

Products purchased as part of a final sale or with a special discount noted as final

Custom-made products

Opened hygiene items

We reserve the right to cancel an order if there was a clerical error in the price or product details, or if the order was placed through illegal activity.

9. Confidentiality and Privacy

We take reasonable precautions to maintain the confidentiality of the information provided to us, including credit card details, and will not transfer it to third parties – except for entities required to perform the service (courier company, payment processor).

Types of information collected:

Personally identifiable information: name, address, email, phone – provided by you knowingly at the time of purchase

Statistical information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed – does not identify you personally

Cookies:

The website uses cookies for statistical purposes and to improve the user experience. Cookies can be disabled in browser settings, but this may impair some website functions.

The information will be used for order processing and sending updates and promotions – provided the customer has agreed. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting hello@marutlv.com.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the website – design, texts, images, logo, and the brand name MARU – are the exclusive property of Maria Goldenberg and are protected by copyright. Any use, copying, distribution, or publication without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

13. Jurisdiction

The applicable law is Israeli law only. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts in Tel Aviv only.
